Lighthouse #2

Today ended with a long walk out to this great lighthouse. I would say the boulder pier was about 3 football fields long at least. It was really, really cold as the sun was beginning to set. The boulders were brought in to form this long pier and to protect the harbor from the waves. It took a lot of time and work to set these boulders in just right. Watch your step was the constant reminder from the boys.
