Out with the old

With our uocing live we have to say goodbye to an old friend! The pathfinder has taken us in many an adventure over the last few years! Geocaching was a passion at one time and we couldn't have found all that we did without this kid friend! We are putting her up for sale and she will be missed!

Jackson 2014

Jackson's first grade school picture, he sure is a handsome little man!

Len wins a blue ribbon

Lens looked forward all year to entering one of his photographs in the annual Peach Days Festival! He was so excited because he won a blue ribbon for this photo he took in Zion! Good work sweetheart!

Peach Days 2014

Everyone in our sleepy town looks forward to the Annual Peach Days Festival! It kicks off with a parade down Main Street!
There are all kinds of activities going in from parades, food and craft booths, Hurricane's got talent, music, and entries from everyone who want a to enter in the judging from painting, photography, art, garden and canning! Ribbons are given out and it's fun to see what our friends and neighbors have done!
We love the friendship and fellowship of neighbors and friends we have know most all our life!

Wisdom Teeth are Gone

Kyla had her wisdom teeth out! What an ordeal for her but two days later she looks pretty good!

Busy, busy!

This week has been a busy one for me but in spite of it I still found time to see an apron for Mistys first day of school and also tries my hand at homemade hamburger buns!
Just a picture of me!

Bernie and Carole

Dad and mom celebrated another anniversary and we are so thankful to still have them in our lives. Dad is still working part time at Ace Hardware and mom holds down the homestead! Mom fell this week and injured her knee pretty badly. She is a trooper though and keeps on going albeit very slow!

First day of school 2014

Jackson entered 1st grade this year! Jenny is trying her hand at photography!
The kids are not always as cooperative as Jenny would like but it makes for some really cute pictured!
Jordan, Juliet, and Jordan!

Family

There is nothing in this world more important to us than family! We enjoyed our trip to Colorado so very much! When is the next trip?

Downtown Manitou Springs

Pete's little boys sure kept all of us on our toes! It was so much fun spoiling them and having them get to know their uncles. Dusty was a good sport!
Casey was so much fun, I don't know when he grew up, I hate living so far away!

Dinner at Edelweiss

Misty and me at Edelweiss Restaurant! It was our last dinner together for this trip! We celebrated Mistys birthday which was on July 23rd!
Dusty, Cory and me at Edelweiss! We also celebrated Cory's birthday which is in a few days on August 5th!
Pete, Len and me at Edelweiss! What a great restaurant we definately will be going back there sometime, very authentic and so yummy! It is in south Colorado Springs.

MendenBall!

On our vacation one of the fun things we did was play a volleyball version with this big yellow ball! The idea was to see how many volleys we could do without dropping the ball! We were all in on it all 12 of us! It was so much fun and we got so sore playing in it that the boys thought we needed to ne the game, so they came up with MENDENBALL! The boys drew a face on the ball! After we all left Misty sent this picture of Mendenball with a tear drawn on it's face and said we miss you already! So classic it just had to go in our family book!
