This year for the celebration we driove about an hour north to a little town called Parowan! It is a sleepy fun little town and was all decked out in red, white, and blue! We plan to go back and explore more but we hit some really great yard sales on our way through!
Our destination for this day was Brian Head Ski Resort! It is in the mountains high above Parowan! We were really surprised that it is it's own little town! Lots of condos and cabins and even stores and other venues! Another destination to explore and stay!
In the miiddle if town there is a park and man made little lake people were fishing and relaxing and enjoying the beautiful day! Because of the 4th they had an arts and craft fair with crafters and good food! Of course we didn't resist the food and had BBQ! So yummy!
